In 1998, the school after series of inspections, was granted provisional approval by the Lagos State Goverment and due recognition by  the West African Examinations council to register for the Senior School Certificate Examination. Two years later,  It was accredited and subsequently registered by the National examination Council (NECO) for the NECO Senior School Certificate  Examination. On Monday 9th December 2002, the school was again inspected by a team of inspectors from NECO office Minna as aprelude to its accreditation for the Junior School Certificate Examination (now know as the Basic Education Certificate Examination)  and on Friday 20th December 2002, it was granted provisional approval to register its students for the 2003 NECO B.E.C.E in the area
